The World Disability Employment Conference will take place at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) located at the corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets in South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Located on the banks of the Brisbane River, the South Bank precinct is located in the Brisbane city centre and is home to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibiiton Centre. South Bank is the city’s green oasis and the hub for cultural and entertainment activities offering wide appeal for delegates to mix with the locals and enjoy this unique inner-city riverside precinct.

Getting there from the airport
Both Brisbane domestic and international airports are 30min drive from the Centre.
The AirTrain connects South Brisbane station to Brisbane’s international and domestic airports with stops in the Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley. Tickets and a timetable for this service can be found at the Airport Information Desk or you can pre-book on the AirTrain website.
Getting there from within Brisbane
Train
South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre on Grey Street or South Bank Railway Station are the most convenient stations to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Bus
The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station cnr of Colchester and Tribune Streets are closest to BCEC.
Car Parking
The BCEC operates a parking facility located at 80 Merivale Street, South Brisbane undercover with direct lift access to the Centre. The car park is open 24 hours a day. More information including rates on the BCEC website.
Taxis
Taxi ranks are located outside the main entrance to the Centre on Merivale Street and a taxi drop off located at the Convention Centre Grey Street entrance.
Walking
BCEC is a short stroll across from the Brisbane CBD connected by Victoria Bridge. Hotels, restaurants and bars, South Bank beach and parklands are all within walking distance from BCEC.

Information desks are located in the Grey Street & Merivale foyers. Here the BCEC staff will be able to assist you in your visit to the Centre.
